EABA Member Name: Karen Hadad Edwards

On September 6,1986, Karen Hadad Edwards and her late husband Jim Hadad borrowed $50.00 from a friend to rent a carpet cleaning machine. Their first job was for Denny’s Restaurant. They soon learned carpet cleaning alone did not create enough cash flow! After some research, they decided working for Real Estate companies would be the best way to go. Howard Hanna was the first to hire them. They expanded their service from carpet cleaning only to include general cleaning, wall repairs and maintenance. In 1998, Jim Hadad passed away. Karen and Craig Edwards were married in 2001 and along with her son Patrick Conley, they moved forward. Patrick graduated in 2002 from IUP with his MBA and he began a marketing division, Conley Consulting. Today, Patrick is the sales manager and the “oldest employee”. He was emptying trash cans at six! Hadad’s is truly a family run and operated business. Karen said,”Our Motto is to treat our employees and clients as family.” At Hadad’s we have a standard of excellence in customer service that we improve upon each day.” Karen loves what she does. Helping people realize their potential is her passion. All of this won them a Super Service Award on Angie’s List. Hadad does both commercial and residential work.
