In early 2012, Jim Vazzo and Scott Martin (after a combined 50+ years of corporate finance and accounting expertise) decided that it was time to help those companies that either could not afford their own CFO (Chief Financial Officer) or were too small to have a full time CFO. The underlying belief, of course, is that ALL companies need the financial guidance that a CFO can provide. Both Scott and Jim believe that small business owners ( and non-profits) need to run their organizations with the same tools that the “Big Boys” use. They advocate generating and reviewing monthly financial statements so the owner can “change course” if need be prior to waiting until year-end, which could be too late. They promote adopting software in which to run your business; scheduling,invoicing and customer service, as there is a great deal of “off the shelf software” that can simplify doing business. Additionally, they assist clients seeking help with bank lines of credit and risk (insurance) management.
