DataMatrix System Inc. is proud to announce that in Oct. of 2011 we will celebrate our 25th anniversary.
During a Rugby Football game back in 1986 Henry N. Strohm and Carl C. Krzywiec had a conversation about their jobs and the future of the computer industry. Who would have known that conversation would lead to a longtime friendship and a growing business?
From their humble beginnings in Henry’s basement to their present location in East McKeesport, Carl and Henry have built a computer business built on honesty, trust and reliable customer service. The company has weathered many storms over the past 25 years as technology and our economy continues to evolve. The use of computers has changed the way we live and work in more ways than we could have ever imagined and will continue to do so. DataMatrix System Inc. will be there to service all the computer and technology needs of your business now, and well into the future.
- Complete computer systems & networks….design, build, manage and evolve..…featuring HP servers, PCs and laptops.
- ConnectCare – Proactive, onsite and remote network management and support services.
- ConnectWatch – 24/7 networking monitoring, alerting and reporting service.
- DataMatrix became a member of EABA in June 1998 and 13 years later, Carl Krzywiec has become a very important part of our team. His knowledge of computer systems is the reason we have an impressive website. Carl’s commitment to our association was solidified when he accepted a position on the Board of Director’s.
Thank you for your dedication to, and your support of the East Allegheny Business Association.
Congratulations on being the EABA May Member of the Month.

Joseph L. Castagnola, Owner/President, has been in business 22 years. The plant and office is located in little Boston, on the Youghiogheny River, adjacent to the bike trail. Business hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with the office open only on Saturday morning. The PRADA Company is a manufacturer of natural Indiana limestone, and manufacturer’s representative of slate, granite, marble, bluestone and precast building products. Indiana limestone blocks (the size of a compact car) are quarried in Bloomington, Indiana and shipped on tractor trailer to McKeesport. Stone craftsmen slab and carvers shape the material to be used as window sills, keystones, copings and wall veneers. The company’s motto is: “Our vision of stone leaves a lasting impression”. PRADA has done projects as far away as California with the closest being the “Wilmerding Park” sign across from Johnny’s Restaurant. We supplied stone at the White House, for renovations spearheaded by First Lady Laura Bush, and the Governors Mansion in Atlanta, Georgia. Joe was a “rookie” as he joined EABA in 1997; since that time the company has grown to 17 employees. His son, Joe, upon the graduation from PITT in 2004, joined the company and runs the fabrication facility. His lovely wife, Rose, helps out too. This past month she accompanied Joe on a business trip to Richmond, VA.
Thank you for your continued support and congratulations on being the EABA March member of the month.
